Our new trans-seasonal uniform

In the beginning of 2021 our College will implement a new uniform. This initiative is in unison with and complements the announcement of our refreshed identity and branding.

In 2019 a committee was formed to review our current policy. After much consultation and collaboration, a decision was made to implement a new uniform that would be functional, affordable, comfortable and inclusive.

The new uniform will be trans-seasonal. This means that we will no longer have a formal winter and a summer uniform. The Reception – Year 2 students will now wear a SmartPlay uniform all year round. This will support our younger students to be physically active throughout the day. The formal uniform will be introduced from Year 3 onwards and students have the choice of what garments they wear throughout the year. We will also have a new-look sports uniform, which will be able to be worn on the designated days.

The College has sizing kits available to enable students and parents to come onsite to try on garments to assist them in ordering the right sized items. Front Office staff will be available and happy to assist families in the ordering process.

There will be a 2 year transition as we implement the new uniform. This means that students will still be able to wear the current uniform until the end of 2022. This will allow families to get the best use out of current uniforms.

Further uniform requirements:

  • If hair is longer than collar length it must be tidily pulled back with a navy or white hair tie.
  • Extreme hairstyles are not permitted to be worn at school, and hair colours must be in line with the range of natural colours.
  • Students are to be clean shaven.
  • Make-up, including nail polish, is not to be worn.
  • The only jewellery permitted to be worn to school includes a watch and/or one plain stud or sleeper per ear. For sport, earrings may be required to be removed. No other piercings permitted.
  • All students are required to wear a school hat for all outside activities.
  • The approved College shoe is a black school shoe (canvas shoes are not permitted).

It is the preference of the College that there will be no mix and match of the previous branded uniform and new branded uniform where possible. 

In relation to uniform expectations, students wearing the trans-seasonal uniform are asked to note the above requirements and to refer back to the visuals provided.  Students who continue to wear the previous branded uniform can refer to the corresponding Dress Code.

Book A Fitting

The College has sizing kits available to enable students and parents to come onsite to try on garments to assist them in ordering the right sized items.  Front Office staff will be available and happy to assist families in the ordering process.

Fittings are strictly 15 minutes only per child and will be held in the front office.  Please ensure that you arrive at your booking on time to allow us to keep to schedule. 

It is recommended that families view the storyboards / Sizing Chart.prior to attending their appointment.

Online Orders

Due to the COVID pandemic, the freight industry has been affected. This has resulted in unexpected delays in the availability of the new trans-seasonal uniform.  Accessing the online portal will provide you with details regarding current available stock and expected dates for any currently out of stock.

Consolidated orders which do not attract a freight charge and are delivered to the School in bulk until further notice.

For any families who do not have access to a uniform of any kind, please contact the school to make alternative arrangements.

Caritas College uniforms are available for purchase online via Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear, with the choice of collecting your order from the school reception or having it delivered to your preferred address for a flat rate of $12 incl GST. (Please see delivery options below)

Delivery Option 1: Delivered to Home Address $12.00 incl GST (not post box)

At checkout you can select to have your order delivered to your home address for a delivery charge of $12.00 incl GST.

Orders are delivered 3 to 4 days in Metro areas and 4 to 7 days to country areas.

Delivery Option 2: Delivered to School Reception No Charge

At checkout you can select to have your order delivered to the school reception for collection for no additional delivery charge.

Uniform Exchange

Exchange Policy

If you accidentally order the wrong size, you can send the product/s back with the Exchange Product Form to Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear and we will post to you free of charge your exchange order. Unfortunately we are not able to offer a credit on your purchase. Please carefully review the below terms and conditions for Product Exchange.

  1. Authority to exchange the product/s is given by Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear.  Items received without a Product Exchange Form will not be accepted.
  2. The item is to be returned to Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear within 14 days of the receipt of the goods (at purchaser’s expense).
  3. The product/s must be in the same condition as at the time of purchase. Tags and labelling must be attached to the product and in the same condition it was purchased in (not worn, unwashed, in its original packaging and in new, saleable condition). Products that are not in a saleable condition will not be accepted for exchange.

 

The product/s are to be returned with the completed form and with proof of purchase
