Camps and excursions

We run a program for camps and excursions each year.

The College makes use of the natural environment of the local community resources, Spencer Gulf and Flinders Ranges.

 2 Day Camp (e.g. Pichi Richi)

 3 Day Camp (e.g. Erappa)

 Year 8

 3 Day Camp (e.g. Melrose – climb Mt Remarkable)

 Year 9

 2 Day Post School Pathways excursion (Adelaide)

 Year 10

 Wilpena Trek or Work Experience / First Aid

 Year 11

 1 Week Work Experience

 Year 12

 2 Day Retreat (e.g. Melrose): 1 Day Seminar (Adelaide); 1 Day Seminar (Local)


In addition, we provide opportunities for students to experience learning in Adelaide through visits to:

  • The Art Gallery
  • South Australian Museum
  • Parliament House
  • Courts facilities
  • St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral in Adelaide
  • Higher education institutions such as South Australia’s Universities and TAFE.

Many local and regional excursions and performances also enable co-curricular learning experiences for students
